Get your homework done

So, you’re trying to do your homework… Perhaps your child has forgotten how to do it or didn’t really understand when it was first taught (we see this all the time and we’re teachers!). You might want to help but do they still teach things the same way? Well, with HMDMH you can go through anything you are not sure about and learn how to do it from experienced teachers currently working in UK primary schools. Find the video you need, watch it, pause it, watch it again if you need to until you know exactly what to do.

Great for Home Schooling

More and more people are home schooling their children but how can you know what and how to teach them? Use our clear skills progression charts to find out exactly what needs to be learnt in each year and then watch a short, clear video from an expert teacher. We explain key concepts and give practical tips on how to complete work. All skills are progression based so you can start your learning at whatever level you are at and move forward at your own pace.

Catch up on missed learning

Certain areas of maths can pose problems and create stumbling blocks that prevent learners moving forward. Fractions, decimals, place value, percentages and ratios are often tricky to master and it can be a good idea to go back to basics and work through concepts. Once you have chosen an area that needs work you can find a page with a series of video lessons going from the very basics in years 1 or 2 right up to the more sophisticated work in year 6 as children prepare for SATs.
