Adding and Subtracting Fractions
As long as the bottom number (denominator) is the same, adding and subtracting fractions is no problem. So again, make sure you are confident with Equivalent Fractions as you will need to be able to do this. Also in this section are Improper Fractions and Mixed Numbers which you get when fractions go over one.
